ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT
The Mike Guidry Memorial Golf Tournament is more than just a tournament—it’s a tribute to a man whose life was defined by service, generosity, and love for his community.

Mike Guidry was a longtime manager at Jay and Lionel Hebert Golf Course, where he became a beloved figure among golfers and friends. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, a devoted husband to Marlene Guidry, and a loving father to Todd Guidry, Danielle Credeur, and Shannon Manning. Known for his giving spirit, Mike always found ways to help others, whether through his work at the golf course or by lending a hand to those in need.

After his unexpected passing, the first tournament was organized to help cover his medical expenses. But thanks to the incredible support from the community, not only were his medical debts covered, but there were also extra funds. That’s when his family knew—what better way to honor Mike than by continuing his legacy of giving back?

Since then, under the leadership of Danielle Credeur and the unending support of family and friends, the tournament has grown into a powerful force for good. Over the past three years, we have proudly donated more than $30,000 to organizations that support veterans and those who serve, including Acadiana Veterans Alliance, Cajuns Support Military, and the Sts. Peter and Paul Knights of Columbus.

Carrying forward Mike’s legacy, we are proud to extend our support to the Acadiana Veterans Honor Guard, ensuring that veterans receive the recognition and respect they deserve.

Through this tournament, we honor Mike Guidry’s memory, his passion for golf, his dedication to his country, and—above all—his spirit of generosity.
